《 buuuuuu... 》

I was coaxing Baobei to drink her milk
last Sat when I tried various actions to distract her...
like using my leg to swing her cradle, singing (stupidly to myself haha),
blowing her hair with my breath (coz she get SO sweaty after each feed)

I was saying "blow blow..." then blow @ her hair, her side, then
making "buuu booo" sound, then telling her "you drink drink milk milk,
mummy blow blow hair hair, liang liang (cool cool)" then she really drink wor
hahaha... each time I repeat, she drink.. then 2 or 3 mouthfuls, she stop and
I repeat again.. so enjoy the cooling effect...

each time I'll make some sound like "ahhh buuuu... ah fuuuu"
showing her blow blow...

today, she LEARNT it!! mauahahaa
she was like sticking her tongue out and making
the "fuu fuu" sound~ (I had it recorded haha, will post soon)

so impressed!~ though Grandpa say "stop stop, not nice lah"
but I found it rather amazing~ hahaa I just "taught" her on Sat
then a few times during the weekends and today, she "mastered" it
hahahaa... so funny... she dono how to blow from her mouth, so use her
nose to "blow" the air out, each time sticking out her tongue and
force the "fuu fuu" sound out haha.. I was laughing so much
that I got cough attack mauahaha.... so cute...

fast learner... but my dad (grandpa) scolded me loh,
say don't learn this lah... stick tongue out not nice lah...
but he also laugh loh hahaa...

then grandpa surprised mummy by saying this
out of a sudden: "one, two, buckle my shoe"
I was like WAH... I think Grandpa and Grandma
secretly learn some English to teach you next time hahaa...
I asked Grandpa what's the next verse and he went:
"three, four, shut le loor" mauahahahaa
(erm, should be shut THE DOOR!) hahaa
we're laughing like mad... haha

anyway, mummy really appreciate grandpa and grandma
for trying to learn some English to let you learn, but I hope
they don't let you learn the wrong pronounciation haha...
"hotdog = hotlog"
"radio = lay leo"
"six = sake"
( I kept teasing grandma, egg cooked liao,
egg sake liao haha)

it's both a milestone for you and
grandpa and grandma :) now they teach you,
next time you must teach them what you know ok? :) keke

* I shall teach you "kiss kiss" now and "clap clap"

《 Where's my mommy?... 》

Baobei has learnt how to recognise ppl ard her...

Brought her to LG's granny's hse yesterday and

when his aunties carried her, I stood in front of her
to play with her... but she frowned and cried haha...

she knows mummy's not carrying her

however, after awhile, you seemed ok... but you're
too tired to play and also due to the unfamiliar surrounding,
you're not able to sleep, thus making you cranky...

sorry baobei, mummy shld let you warm up with the
surrounding around you before letting others carry you,
making you all stressed out...

宝贝mummy好没用

Sorry 宝贝
你一直不要喝奶， 又那么难哄你睡。。。
看了实在心痛。

Mummy发了好大的脾气
自己气自己，
为什么不能做个好妈妈，
让你吃得饱，睡得好?

Mummy was so stressed this AM
(you kept waking up when I tried to feed you...
不喂你，又不行。 一天喝那么少。, 这样怎么会长大??)
you didn't slp, mummy also didn't slp...
when you're asleep, mummy has to quickly
bottle feed you... so in the end, I didn't sleep @ all :(

This AM Mummy was soo stressed that I broke
down while feeding you (WHEN you suddenly woke up
from your sleep - meaning, you don't wana drink anymore)
Mummy felt sooo frustrated that I cried so hard...

Maybe also due to the lack of sleep :(

Finally Daddy called Grandma and Grandpa for help.
and they came over to feed and make you sleep
(Granny is used to your pattern, but Mummy is still
getting used to it - must make you sleep then feed you)
By then, Mummy finally can sleep thru till afternoon, skipping bfast.

Mummy really have to thank Granny for the help,
else, I'll really collapse. When can I get used to your weird pattern?
Why you don't like to drink milk milk? How will you grow like that?
Sigh...

I just let you drank some just now...
drink ard 30ml each hour... yes.. when you are awake...
you don't like us to carry you to drink anymore when you are
awake... you'll want to jerk urself into sitting position...
we can only feed you when you lie down (let you lie on higher pillow).
why so naughty?? then when lying down, your hands will be
wiping and moving everywhere, taking off the bottle lah,
head turning to and fro lah... in the end, only drank like 50ml
you tell me, what you want us to do ley??

see, just now, 7pm feed you 30ml
then you don't want liao... then 8pm, feed you 20ml...
then you wana sleep... after you slept (and STILL sleeping) @
9pm, then I can happily feed you the rest of 60ml...
the whole of mummy's sat is gone liao ley... sigh...

Mummy shld be sleeping with you now... but
I really don't wana waste all those time I'd wasted this afternoon
just feeding and putting you to sleep... sigh

Mummy 真的搞不懂，
为什么你醒着的时候不要喝奶呢??
只有在你睡的时候才能喂你。
你知道这有多辛苦吗??

《 2nd Vaccination... 》

Baobei went for her 2nd vaccination yesterday.
And she's a brave little kid (or shld I say
she just likes distraction haha)

her appointment was @ 2pm.

we went early to register -

as usual, had to wait... almost 30mins,

so Daddy and Mummy brought her to walk walk

*ohh her weight was 5.6kg
and her height 60cm

We settled for Long John, where

LG and I had a quick lunch

Finally coaxed Baobei to sleep when
the nurses called to say it's her turn...

went to Kids Clinic... waited for ard 10mins

(was trying to bottle feed BB in vain, sigh)

when we went in, Baobei was sleeping away,

chin on my shoulder (she likes to slp like this :)

a series of general questions and I'd to put BB

down for PD's examination...

She's still sound asleep on the examination table,

but woke up shortly (her Kpo-ness) to look around...

luckily she didn't cry when she woke up hehe

her assessment as follows:

1. She's drinking too little (I complained this to PD)
   >> only a mere 110ml as compared to other BBs, sigh
   >> she can't drink all @ 1 shot... had to wait for her to slp
   then quickly feed her, else feeding her will take us 1 hr!
   >> she's very distracted when she's awake and after drinking
   half, she wana play~ wat to do?~ sigh~
   
2. Her weight is STILL normal - average (but shld be gaining
   ard 4th to 5th mth where it'll double)
   
3. Her height - taller than average haha (as expected)
   
4. Able to support her head when turned on her tummy
   
5. Able to pull herself up when PD pulled her fingers
   
6. Eye reflex all good
   
7. Able to grab
   
8. Eats her hand
   
9. Talks alot
   
   
   After which, came the needle haha
   this time, buttok again...

Mummy carried you again,
chin on my shoulder...

I'd wana video all the process,
but can't bear to :p

I didn't know PD had the needle in your butt
until you were "struggling" - kicking and mugging your face
on my chest haha... then you let out a cry~

Daddy distracted you and I lay you on the bed,
where you start to LAUGH~ (you little joker haha)
and talk to yourself.. maybe complaining to us or
to yourself "what's that sudden pain?!" hahaahaa

went home, gave you medicine, you cry like nobody's
business~ injection, you can laugh, drink medi, you cry
Baobei ah Baobei, what to do with you??

today granny called to say you had slight fever
(this morning when I went over to see you, you were
sleeping soundly, maybe coz of the medicine)

Granny gave you a doze of medicine and
stuck the "tui re tie" on your forehead :)

When I knock off from work,
Granny say you had been sleeping 2 hrs straight
and don't wana drink... she'd to feed you with spoon
and you only drank little... then the "tui re tie" came off
and stuck on her hands where you almost put in your mouth
when Granny turned away~ *little rascal* haa...

you turned and opened your eyes when I called you,
but was in a state of blur~ then went bck to slp
poor Baobei, you must be slpy and hungry
(but why don't you wana drink?)

Mummy have to BF you...
you only latched on for 5mins then
you're wide awake liao... refuse to latch on anymore.
only wana TALK... ya ya ya gogo gaga away~

Mummy knows you've no appetite to drink...
but if you don't drink and slp alot, how will you
grow up?

Baobei, pls be good and drink more milk milk k?

《 Eee yaaa... 》

I was sleeping so soundly this am.
Suddenly, Lau Gong tapped me
"lau po lau po, u see"

I turned around, only to see baobei
on her tummy and her head up!~
she turned over and lifted her head!!
(last few weeks she had been trying to turn,
but neck still not strong)

I literally RAN to the living room to retrieve
the cam and recorded her achievement haha
so happy :)

Baobei, Jia you!~
